Portrait vs Landscape Crash

Used to work fine in all modes but now without fail, it crashes immediately upon switching to landscape. To reset, I have to hit the home button on the iPad to close the app completely. Then hold the iPad in portrait mode and restart the app. Providing the app setting is not set to locked in landscape, my videos will play fine BUT turning the iPad to landscape instantly crashes the app. All my other apps work fine in either mode.
